Workshops and Classes

I am an experienced facilitator and teacher with a passion for engaging people in the learning process. I approach facilitation with the deep curiosity that drives most of what I do.

My current open workshops can be found here:

If your group or nonprofit is struggling with making decisions, implementing change, or otherwise stuck in some way, I am available for hire as an external facilitator or consultant.

I also offer a variety of prepared workshops on social justice topics to workplaces and other groups. Examples:

  • practicing and developing inclusion and justice for transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) people in organizations and in our communities
  • understanding how abolition relates to our daily lives (and how to deepen our abolitionist practice)

I would also love to design workshops specifically tailored to what you need or want to work on in your organization.

I am an editor with experience working in multiple roles at academic presses, as a freelancer, and as an author getting my own writing published. My focus is on developmental editing, which means working with authors to envision large scale changes to manuscripts in organization and style that make them overall more effective pieces of writing.

I work on academic books, articles, and chapters, and will make concrete suggestions that authors can implement to make their work connect with readers. More info on my editing services is here.

Schedule permitting, I am also available for research projects, speaking engagements, and other collaborations. If you have any questions or concerns about pricing or the services above, just ask. I am excited to work with all kinds of groups and individuals, including social movements with limited budgets.
